a photo I took at a typical ‘basic’ Kiwi camping ground at Whangaparaoa
on the North Island's East Cape. The camp was filling up for Auckland’s
Anniversary weekend and I managed to capture this image before a
house-bus moved into this spot.
Soaking up the last of the day’s warmth, a camper rests in his deck chair, on a stoney beach with the huge arching Pohutukawa trees framing this silhouette.
